My Best Friend's Wedding!

I am soooooooooo thrilled...My Best Friend(G)is getting married in Feb '09 (I hope I can make it to India for the wedding). She is getting engaged on the 10th of this month (in Mumbai)and I am sitting here in CA, sulking about not being there...Well, anyway..I am just so happy for her that all the happiness and excitement has overpowered my sulkiness :-)

I was chatting with her a couple of days back and I asked her why she hadn't posted a new blog for so long..she said she was thinking about what to write. I asked her to write about how it feels to be in love ;-) and she (I have never seen her be so romantic/dramatic etc etc) says "I don't know how to express it in words"...I didn't know how to respond :-). Later I realized how true she was..it is a beautiful feeling, but it's too difficult to express it effectively (unless you are the re-incarnation of Shakespeare or something)

There is another thing adding to my ecstasy..I am a published author now..yeah seriously...My first book is out in India...it's a children's book on Charlie Chaplin. I hope the children enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it..it was a super-fun experience.

And to update my dear readers on my journey to towards getting fit...I diligently exercise everyday, for at least 30 mins, and I am feeling great!

    I'm so happy for you Aparna...a published author...wow!! Such great news...and of course congratulations to your friend, I hope you can make it because weddings are so much fun!

    Thank you...Yeah I wish I can make it too :-)..the only consolation though is that she is coming to Sunnyvale after her marriage..

    Wow Aparna, your book got published...this is so awesome. Also, keep thinking positively about making it to your friend's wedding next year, it'll happen. Let me tell you it's not fun watching those wedding videos afterward, I missed all my cousin's wedding and all I have are those videos that almost make me cry because I wasn't amongst all my cousins dancing!
