You all must be wondering why I haven't written anything in a while..well..I just wasn't in the mood to sit down and write. Well, I am going to make up for that...Let's see, what all have I done in the past weeks that is interesting enough to list here...well I attended my very first baby shower (wasn't for me!!!).

The friend who organised the shower learnt about my knitting ventures and assumed that I was a very creative person...nothing wrong in her assumption..but anyway..she asked if I could make a 'Diaper Cake'? I was like, what the hell is a diaper cake...Then I googled it and found out what it meant and agreed to make one for the party. Here is the final product


The week after that another couple and us went to Muir Woods, one of the state parks in San Francisco which preserves Redwoods. It started raining as were nearing the place and we were a little disappointed . As we parked our car, we saw people walking around in transparent rain ponchos and realized that they were selling it for $2 at the entrance. We bought four ponchos and started our walk, looking super funny in the. We took one of the longer walking trails and walked for about 3 miles. By the end of the walk we were completely famished and just wanted to get to the car..and our lunch!( we had carried lemon rice, potato sabzi*, curd rice and mango pickle). We had planned to pick a nice spot and have a picnic.but the rain spoiled out plans. We went around looking for some place to sit down..we found a cute park, but there was no sheltered place so we ended up eating in the car itself. From there we went to this huge outlet called Burlington Coat Factory in San Francisco and did a little shopping. It was almost 8.30 by the time we got back home..I hadn't felt even a little bit tired till then..but as soon as I got home all kinds of aches and pains came up...The next morning was even worse..My feet ached terribly...but well..we ended up going shopping again...

I consider that a very interesting weekend...don't you?
