With the success of yesterday's blog, I have decided to write another one...(not to disappoint my avid readers). Here I am, sitting at office staring at my PC, wondering what to write. I can't think of any particular thing to write about, but then does a blog need a specific topic?
I don't think so...I just remembered a phrase suggested by a colleague 'random bakwaas*' which makes perfect sense now! So here's today's theme-randomness!
I am back home and am now staring into my laptop..still pondering!!!
Okay....here goes....I had just entered the light rail and was making my way to my favourite seat in the back when my eyes fell on this black figure, sitting right at the end. Once I got settled, I caught a glimpse of her and was thoroughly amused...She was dressed in black (shirt, pant & boots), she had extremely long (claw-like) red nails and a crazy hairdo. I was like 'which fashion/unfashionable era is she from?????' Even with the minimum fashion sense that I have, I could see that she was worse off than me...much worse!
Her look was so distracting that I couldn't concetrate on the book I was trying to read..so I decided to shut the book and look for further amusement. And that's when I saw these three fellows looking out the window intently. I guess it was their first Light Rail ride coz they were amused by everything they saw. The train stopped at Nasa/Bayshore and they started taking pics (which is reasonable)...further down the journey they took snaps of Great America( all you see is one portion of a roller coaster and a couple rides and a vast parking lot)...After all the exciting photography they got off at Great Mall..I am sure the mall will be another major attraction for them :-).
Soon it was time for me to get off..and I realized that the Lady in Black was getting off at the same station...I hope she gets on one of those makeover shows..it'll definitely do her good!
*Nonsense
Random indeed...hopefully that lady's clothes at least fit her properly!
ReplyDeleteWell guess i've seen women dressed like that so i know what must have amused u......... but ya did her clothes fit her properly???
ReplyDeleteProperly..well not exactly...her shirt was too tight and the pants were too short(it looked like she was going to wade through ankle high water and no they weren't cropped pants..)
ReplyDeleteLol, I'm glad to know I'm not the only person who can become so distracted by someone else's bad fashion choices that they can't concentrate on any thing else!
