Precious Weekends!!!

A Friday evening is so exciting, with the prospect of a relaxing weekend ahead; what could be better? This weekend began well, my husband & I caught a movie on Friday night(the movie was a bore) but the fact that were out late was good enough. Saturday was good too, we did a little shopping, ate out and had long chat sessions with our parents in India...

But today was a whole different matter. We had this casting call at office (a very uneventful one I must add). With all the excitement about the upcoming Manish Malhotra Show in September, my colleagues and I were eagerly looking forward to picking some good models. About 10 girls had responded to our ad and we expected a few walk-ins too...and how many turned up-4...Can you imagine..we went all the way to office to see 4 girls??? It at least would have been worth it if the girls were good, we liked only 1! The only solace for the time spent in office were the food and the interesting gup-shup* we had with a couple of models from our previous show.

What should I say about Sunday evenings, they are the worst...it's 8.10 and all I can think of is that tomorrow morning at this time I'll be in the kitchen, hastily trying to finish my work and get ready for office. Oops..I forgot..something else also happned today, or rather is happening now...I am chatting with one of my best friends in India...and am enjoying every minute of it. Guess it will make up for the 3 hours that were wasted at the casting call :-)...

Well, what can we do..there goes another precious weekend...I'll be waiting (just like everyone else) for the next one!
